Alternately, Batman would occasionally team up with lesser-known versions of popular heroes such as the Jay Garrick Flash. Often the characters Batman would team up with were lesser known DC characters such as Detective Chimp and Cinnamon. Jan (Cavadini), Jace (Taylor), and Blip also make an appearance as Batman helps the space heroes take down the Creature King ( Gregg Berger).Īlthough I’m not a big fan of the episode’s design of Mr. Not to be outdone by the episode’s short tales, the opening segment of the show is one of the most bizarre yet with Batman teaming up with Space Ghost ( Gary Owens). Aquaman shares the tale of “The Sea Caves of Doom” in which he and Batman took down Black Manta ( Kevin Michael Richardson) an his gang of ten, twenty, fifty, make that 100 Manta Men. Plastic Man recounts the time he went undercover to stop Babyface’s (Kenny) bank heisting crew. The first flashback gives us Green Arrow and Batman ( Diedrich Bader) fighting over who will capture the Cavalier ( Greg Ellis) who has kidnapped a member of Star City high society ( Cathy Cavadini) and brought her to Gotham. To help pass the time each of the characters recounts an early team-up with the Caped Crusader. Three of Batman’s pals, Green Arrow ( James Arnold Taylor), Plastic Man ( Tom Kenny), and Aquaman ( John Di Maggio), find themselves captured by Mr. Title: Batman: The Brave and the Bold – Bold Beginnings!. ![]()
